First deviantART journal post, w00t.
Today I realized how much time deviantART can suck out of your day...and I'm just getting started.
Well, I rationalize it cause I finally deleted my MySpace that I haven't used for a year or two anyways.
Oh well. (note: I am horrible with time management :/)
Soon to come - my artwork from Intro to Drawing classes...fun fun. My friend Luke (aka ~PinkPanther21) kindly shot my work with his fancy new Canon, so those will be sweet.
This is my first year in the art program, and I'm rather encouraged at my progress so far. Over the summer, if you had asked me to draw a shaded still life with atmospheric perspective and correct proportions, I doubt I could have. It's really great to see that I am learning, even if it feels like drudgery most of the time.
"But it's not just learning things that's important. It's learning what to do with what you learn and learning why you learn things at all that matters." - Norton Juster, The Phantom Tollbooth

yea, deviantart is a great time sucker especially if you wish to attract other people's attention to your own work.
i deleted my myspace recently as well. myspace sucks! ^_^
best wishes

Do not go where the path may lead.
Go instead where there is no path and leave a trail.

=CleonCrusade, for great CLC justice.
Leon had been taken hostage by Insane Left Testicle, a supervillain who had the city in a state of amazing terror. Cloud fainted dead away, like a small child being stapled to the wall.

I'm getting there...I'm actually waiting on a batch of digital shots of my drawings to be scaled down so I can post em.
